It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of David John Banner of New Alexandria, Pennsylvania, born in Latrobe, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 9, 2024, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his father Donovan C. "Bub" Banner. He is survived by : his mother Linda David Banner of Ligonier; his sons, Jayson D. Banner of Fraser and Dylan J. Banner (Stephanie Nix) of Pittsburgh; and his siblings, Donovan C. Banner Jr. (Carmen) of Ligonier, Daniel W. Banner (Roni) of Elizabeth and Amy Whitcko (Jeff) of Russellton. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, one great nephew and one great niece.

A reception was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McCabe Funeral Home (300 W 3rd Ave, Derry, PA 15627).
