In loving memory of Richard A. Zagar of New Alexandria, Pennsylvania, who departed this world on September 26, 2025 at the age of 66. Richard leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Zagar and Adeline K. Zagar (Waselesky); and his nieces, Joanne Brewer, Patricia Zagar and Elaine Zagar.
He is survived by: his wife Gayle L. Zagar (Truxal) of New Alexandria; his children, Donald Zagar (Lyndsy), Jessica Zagar and Vanessa Zagar; his stepdaughter Amanda Clemons of New Alexandria; his grandchildren, Madeline, Jackson and Braxton; his stepgrandchildren, Tanner, Hunter, Kohle, McKenna and Bohden; his siblings, Donald A. Zagar (Carol) of Murrells Inlet, SC and Dolores Brewer of Murrells Inlet, SC; and his nephew James Brewer (Sharon).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lopatich-Brinker Funeral Home (601 Weldon St, Latrobe, PA 15650). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Logos Christian Fellowship (1317 Latrobe Derry Rd, Mcchesneytown-Loyalhanna, PA 15661).
