It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gwenda Lou Zakis of New Bloomfield, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 22, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Guy Gleim and Alfretta Gleim Howe (Kegris); her husband Michael Spiro Zakis; her son Michael Zakis, Jr.; and her siblings, Joyce Otten and Ronald Howe.
She is survived by : her children, Kevin Zakis (Jennifer) of New Bloomfield, Chadd Zakis (Tracy) of Appling, GA, Karri Zakis Shearer (Andrew) of Birdsboro and Christy Zakis of Mechanicsburg; and her sister Beverly Sheaffer of Harrisburg. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; nine great grandchildren.
