She was predeceased by: her parents, Domenick DeCaprio and Lucy DeCaprio (Pizzitola); and her sister Rita Mae DeCaprio. She is survived by: her husband Anthony J. Scarnati; her children, Rita M. Ludovici (Vince) of New Castle, Renee L. DeBlasio (David) of New Castle and Anthony J. Scarnati (Monica) of New Castle; and her siblings, Domenick DeCaprio, Jr. (Lorraine Nellis), Jeanne Sesko (Tom), JoAnne Slater (William) and Vicki Flora (Denny). She is also survived by ten grandchildren, two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home (926 Cunningham Ave, New Castle, PA 16101). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, May 12th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Holy Spirit Parish- St. Vitus (910 S Mercer St, New Castle, PA 16101).
