She was predeceased by: her parents, Elza Nycum and Rachael Nycum (Berkebile); her husband Walter E. Garretson; her son Gary G. Garretson; and her stepmother Bertha Marie Nycum.
She is survived by: her children, Ginger L. Stoner (Donald) of New Castle, Jay H. Garretson (Elaine) of Warren, OH and Laura L. Adams (Ron) of New Castle; and her siblings, Mickey Little of Goodyear, AZ and Rita Zeigler of Stow, OH. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
