With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Martha Shannon (New Castle, Pennsylvania), born in Hickory, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 29, 2019 at the age of 102. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Robinson and Ida Robinson (Shaffer); and her siblings, Violet Alborn, James, Clar and Allan Robinson.
She is survived by: her children, Alice Kellogg of Westbrook, Sally Boyer (Robert) of Lake Wales, Barbara Shannon of Erie, James Shannon (Hazel) of New Castle, John Shannon (Rosemary) of Girard, Walter Shannon (Holly) of Ocean Isle, Dale Shannon (Patricia) of Uniontown, Ohio, Leslie Shannon (Deborah) of New Castle, Calvin Sharon of New Castle and Robert Shannon of Lewistown, Pennsylvania; and her siblings, Nancy Shively of New Wilmington and Ralph Robinson of New Castle. She is also survived by 24 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
