She is survived by : her husband Richard Smith; her children, Garbriellia Ann Stanley (Kyle), William Larry Bates Jr. of Florida, Robin Alexander Bates of Philadelphia and Bethany Charlotte Bates of Tampa; her grandchildren, Michael Aaron Bates, Michael Aaron Tinker, Liam Jhon Bates, Brandon Blaine Bethune Jr., Zachary Devin Smith, Samantha Danielle Smith, April Tabatha Stanley, Margaret Kathrine Bates and Reeanne Lynn Mengal; and her great grandchildren, Na'Layah Marie Bethune, Ellionna Charlotte-Ann Bethune and Trinity Elizabeth Smith.
