He was predeceased by : his parents, Isaac Shearer and Sarah Shearer (Stevenson); his grandchildren, Brandon Shearer of Mechanicsburg and Desirea DeHart of New Columbia; and his sister Nancy Bashore of Milton.
He is survived by : his wife Nancy A. Shearer (Dyer); his children, Bruce Shearer (Shawna) of Dillsburg, Steven Shearer (Michelle) of New Columbia and Leslie Roush of Mifflinburg; his grandchildren, Gretchen Shearer of Philadelphia, Christopher Hamilton (Liz) of Sunbury, Dalton and Larissa Shearer of New Columbia; his great grandchildren, Noah Snyder and Kat Kazlauskas of Sunbury; and his siblings, Larry Shearer of Milton, Sara Havanas (Ed) and Mary Guerrero.
