With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carol J. Rodgers (New Cumberland, Pennsylvania), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 9, 2025 at the age of 81. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Carol J. Rodgers to pay them a last tribute.
Though Carol may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Carol touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William E. Martin and Jeanne E. Martin (Larimer); her husband Cornelius A. "Con" Rodgers; and her sister Audrey Schreckengaust. She is survived by: her children, Amy Beth MacHenry (Stephen) of New Holland, PA and Stephen Douglas Rodgers (Michael Moran) of New York, NY; her grandchildren, Scott Michael and Emily Jeanne MacHenry; her sister Suzanne Ligons; and her stepbrother Doug Smith. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
