She was predeceased by: her parents, J. Norman Flax and Louise Flax (Sweeney) of Emmitsburg, MD.; and her siblings, Donald Flax and Norma Nusbaum. She is survived by: her husband John C. Leaman, Jr. of Waynesboro, PA.; her daughters, Kimberly Snyder Wise (Dave) of New Cumberland, PA and Jean DePerro (Michael); her grandchildren, Kelli Snyder of Downingtown, PA, Geoffrey Snyder (Brittany) of Mechanicsburg, PA, Zachary Monaghan (Sarah), Ryan Snyder (Rebecca) of Tampa, FL, Kaitlyn Morgan (Joe) of Woolwich Twp, NJ and Tyler Monaghan (Kelsey) of Swedesboro, NJ.; her great grandchildren, Aiden, Adelyn Snyder, Evan, Bennett Snyder, Joey, Layla Morgan, Michael, Christian, Luke, Benjamin and Savannah Monaghan; and her close friend Jeanne Reyes of Columbia, MD..
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Malpezzi Funeral Home (8 Market Plaza Way, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made in Doris' name to the American Lung Association of Pennsylvania.
