She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Gordon and Lillian E. Gordon (Thompson). She is survived by: her husband Leroy L Whire III; and her children, Jeffrey L. Whire (Melinda), Jennifer L. Milatano, Tania L Hunley (Dan), Sherri L Winger (Konrad) and Robin D. McCoy (Joey). She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren.
