He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Nicolai and Amanda Nicolai (Hinsley). He is survived by: his children, William A. (Peggy) of Indianapolis, IN, Amanda Hasemeier (Robert) of New Cumberland, Kathryn Nicolai (Cookie) of Raleigh, NC and Annette Nicolai of New Cumberland; his brother Frank Nicolai (Mary) of El Paso, TX; and his wife Frances. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
