With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Karen Lorraine Matteo of New Derry, Pennsylvania, born in Latrobe, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 11, 2023 at the age of 71. She was predeceased by : her parents, Frank J. Smith and Helen Smith (Harrold). She is survived by : her husband Eugene J. Matteo; her sons, Johnathan Matteo (Amber) of Pittsburgh and Lucas G. Matteo of New Derry; her granddaughters, Tegan, Sofia, Delaney and Deklyn; and her brother Larry Smith (Diana) of Derry. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
