He was predeceased by: his parents, George N. Zimmerman and Mary Zimmerman (Martin); his wife Elva Ruth Zimmerman (Wise); his daughter Almeda W. Nolt; and his siblings, Anna Ruth Lauver, Martha G. Weaver, John N. M. Zimmerman, Mary Ann Martin, Paul Zimmerman, Esther M Zimmerman, Amos M. Zimmerman, Abram E. Zimmerman and Titus M. Zimmerman.
He is survived by: his children, Edith W. Zimmerman of New Holland, Allen W. (Vera Zimmerman) of Ephrata, Melvin W. (Linda Zimmerman) of Ephrata, Ray W. (Mary Zimmerman) of Denver, Ammon W. (Rhoda Zimmerman) of Blue Ball, Carl W. (Ruth Zimmerman) of New Holland, Elsie W. (Neil Martin) of Manheim and Rosene W. Zimmerman of New Holland; and his son-in-law Paul M. Nolt of New Holland. He is also survived by 32 grandchildren and 110 great grandchildren.
