He is survived by: his mother Luz Luciano of Springfield, MA; his friend Nancy Martinez of Lancaster; and his siblings, William Mercado Luciano, Angel Melendez, Jorge Suarez of Connecticut, Miguel Melendez of New York, Nelly Mercado of Florida, Jackie Mercado of Springfield, MA and Wilma Mercado of Puerto Rico.
