We are sad to announce that on April 28, 2023, at the age of 96, David Z. Smoker (New Holland, Pennsylvania), born in Talmage, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, John F. Smoker and Emma Zook Smoker; his daughter Lena (Benuel Lapp); and his siblings, Lydia, Simon, Mary, Naomi, Ruth, Elizabeth, Priscilla, Anna and James.
He is survived by : his wife Rebecca Esh Smoker; his daughters, Anna Mary (Jake Stoltzfus) of Brownstown, PA, Sadie (Jonas King) of Troutville, VA, Lydia (Jonathan Stoltzfus Jr.) and Faith (Joseph Fisher) of Gordonville, PA; and his son-in-law Benuel Lapp (Margaret). He is also survived by 24 grandchildren; 75 great-grandchildren; and two brothers.
