He is survived by: his children, Edwin Herr of Gorin, MO, John, Carolyn Herr (Baker) of New Holland, Eli, Jr., Mabel Herr (Musser) of Ephrata, Alma, Amos Oberholtzer of Owen, WI, Amy, Jerry Martin of Guys Mills, Melvin, Gloria Herr (Newswanger) of Richland, June and Rodney Sensenig of Liberty; his sisters, Louise Herr of Ephrata and Amy Herr of Ephrata; and his sister-in-law Lydia Leinbach of East Earl. He is also survived by 39 grandchildren; 95 great-grandchildren.
