He was predeceased by: his parents, Doyle W. Best and Martha Best (Bower); his daughter Trudy Ann; his brothers, Earl Best and C. Fred Best; and his son-in-law Frank Gebert.
He is survived by: his daughter Betsy S. Gebert; and his grandchildren, Ryan Gebert and Caitlin Gebert. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Due to the current pandemic, services will be private at the convenience of the family.
