It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Janet Elene Martin (New Holland, Pennsylvania), born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 23, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her husband Clayton S. Martin; her parents, Walter R. Heiss and Kathryn M. Peterman Heiss; her stepdaughter Sylvia Britton; and her sisters, Shirley Becker and June Firestone.

She is survived by : her stepchildren, Rodger Martin of Hancock, NH, E. David Martin of Brownstown, Cherry (Parker Smith) of Bethany Beach, DE, Sheila Brownell of Ephrata and Joy Birkens of Eastbourne, England; and her sister Loris H. Harrison of Millersville. She is also survived by 11 step grandchildren and numerous step great and great great grandchildren.
