He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Elvin Landis and Sarah Root Landis; his wife Gladys Martin; his son Stuart Landis (Starla); his grandchildren, Kaela, Tasha, Ketura and Shayna; his daughter Shelby (Dave Swartley); his grandchildren, Maria, Rebecca and Sean; his children, Scott (Wendy), Caiden and Caris; his grandchild Cuyler; his great grandchildren, Ezra and Everett Eavenson; his brothers, Elvin, Paul and Robert; and his sisters-in-law, Mary Jane, Evelyn and Rhoda Landis.
