It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arvid Neil Anderson of New Kensington, Pennsylvania, born in Denver, Colorado, who passed away on February 4, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Reuben Wilford and Pearl Alida Anderson (Anderson); and his wife Zeinab Ra'oof Allos Anderson. He is survived by: his daughter Wanda "Swan" Mueller of Greensburg; his grandchildren, Hayley, Lily and Will Mueller; his sister-in-law Widad Zakko (Iraqi) of London, England; and his nephew Denver.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Andy's memory to the Colorado School of Mines (PO Box 4005, Golden, CO 80402).

“Andy and Zeinab ( and Swan) were very special to our family. They introduced our children to crochet and we would play the game every September with a group of international engineers from Alcoa and share a multicultural potluck We also spent several holidays with Zeinab and Andy. We had just received Andy’s annual Chrıstmas letter only to learn the following day that he had passed. We are heartbroken and send much love to Swan and her family. Andy and Zeinab represented goodness in this world.”
