She was predeceased by: her husband David L. Cooksey; and her parents, Russell S. Gates and Elizabeth Gates (Richardson). She is survived by: her children, Patricia Willis (Scott), David "Ted" Cooksey (Theresa) and Susan Shannon (Brian); and her grandchildren, Jordan, Shannon, Jonathan, Alex, Matt, Lauren, Daniel and Michael.
