She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert M. and Mary C. Shearer (Thatcher); and her sister Emilie Campbell Winstead. She is survived by: her spouse Dale C. Houser; her children, Jennifer S. Hill (Roger) of Havertown, David K. Houser (Julie) of North Yorkshire, England and Julie Russell (Houser) of Denver, CO.; and her grandchildren, Corona Hill, Owen Houser, Benn Houser, Christopher Williams, Tim Williams, Tiffany Russell and Brandon Russell.
