She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Highlands and Myrtle Highlands (Utze). She is survived by: her husband Jan S. Calaman; her sons, Dale L. Guise and Daniel L. Guise of Germantown, MD; and her sister Dorene Smith of New Oxford. She is also survived by five grandchildren.
