Vesta P. Statler Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Vesta P. Statler of New Oxford, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 15, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Nelson Wilson and Iva Wilson (Hager). She is survived by: her husband J. Owen Statler; her daughters, Julie Carol Ilyes (John) of York and Laura Beth Merena (Stephen) of Jericho, VT; her grandchildren, Jordan Michael Ilyes (Alicia) of York, James Statler Ilyes (Hannah) of Glenville, Robert James Merena of Jericho, VT, Joanna Michelle Wilfong (James) of York and Amylaine Shea Merena of Jericho, VT; and her great grandchildren, Payton James McWilliams, Brooklyn Rose McWilliams, Kennedy Rose Ilyes, Reeve Owen Ilyes, Leah Ann Ilyes and Camden John Wilfong.
Viewing will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Feiser Funeral Home (302 Lincoln Way W, New Oxford, PA 17350). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Good Samaritan Fund of The Brethren Home Community, 2990 Carlisle Pike, New Oxford, PA, 17350.
