He was predeceased by: his parent James S.; his great grandchild Tori Stitely; and his siblings-in-law, Arlene Hoy, Gwendolyn Hoy and Gene Reid.
He is survived by: his parent Viola Blanche Bowman Hoy; his spouse Audrey Griffin Hoy; his sons-in-law, Andrea Jean of Union Bridge, Donald Wilson of Union Bridge, Joyce Marie of Union Bridge, Earle Fritz of Union Bridge, Deborah Ann and Wallace Norris of Lakewood Ranch, FL; his grandchildren, Tawney Stitely, Kristi Wilson, Cheryl Shelton and Tim Fritz; his great grandchildren, Mandy Stonesifer, Tara Stonesifer, Kyle Shelton, Madelyn Shelton and Andrew Fritz; his great great grandchildren, Gage, Aubree and Landon; and his siblings, Martha Reid of Towson, Calvin Hoy of Union Bridge and Marvin Hoy (Sadie) of Frederick.
