He is survived by: his wife Barbara Varian (Zartman); his daughter Becky Varian of Fairfax, VA; his stepson Todd Zartman of New Oxford, PA; his nephew Edward Varian, Jr.; and his sisters-in-law, Deb Jago (Steve) and Lori Greenholt (Ed).
