We are sad to announce that on July 10, 2025, at the age of 75, Jose A. Mendez of New Providence, Pennsylvania passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jose A. Mendez to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his wife Betty E. Snyder Mendez; his parents, Victor Mendez and Trinidad Acevedo Lopez Mendez; his siblings, Arnaldo and Nilsa; and his grandson Isaias Saez.
He is survived by: his children, Wesley (Stacey Mendez) of New Providence, Tony (Lori Mendez) of New Providence, Melissa (Matt Rivera), Valerie (Joe Saez), Stacey (Wayne Albright) of Columbia, Jocelyn Mendez, Jacoby Mendez of Oxford and Junior (Eva Santana) of Leola; and his siblings, Victor, Carmen and Hector. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Reynolds and Shivery Funeral Home (144 E State St, Quarryville, PA 17566). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society, American Heart Association or Save The Bay foundation.
