In loving memory of James P. Tierney Jr. of New Ringgold, Pennsylvania, who departed this world on May 26, 2025 at the age of 87. James leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James P. Tierney, Sr. and Mary Tierney (McDonald); his daughter Wanda Joy Carol Johannides (Neifert); and his siblings, Jerry, Thomas Tierney, Barbara Tierney and Patricia Reddington.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Tierney (Shellhamer); his children, James P. "Ryk" Tierney III, Scott L. Neifert (Nadine), Kimberly Letts (Robert) and Joann S. Kasel; his sister Mary Jane Tierney; and his grandchildren, Joseph, Jordan Laubach, Tyler Tierney, Colton Johannides, Joshua Pippetti (Jamie), James Pippetti, Amy Jo Pippetti, Vicki Putnam, Sabrina Kasel, Zane Kasel, Abigail and Zachary Letts.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Robert's. Nester Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. (2066 W Penn Pike, New Ringgold, PA 17960). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Jim's name to Zion's Stone Church of West Penn Township.
