We are sad to announce that on November 2, 2025, Susan E. Strangarity of Newmanstown, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Susan shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Susan farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman George and Mildred (Mensch). She is survived by: her husband Nicholas J. Strangarity Jr.; her brother Russell L. George (Karen George) of Exeter Twp; Rachael Leininger, Adriana and Jess Estabrook.
Viewing was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bean Funeral Homes- Sinking Spring (3825 Penn Ave, Sinking Spring, PA 19608). Visitation was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Bean Funeral Home (3825 Penn Ave, Sinking Spring, PA 19608). A Mass was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Ignatius Loyola Church (2600 St Albans Dr, Reading, PA 19609). A burial was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at the Gethsemane Cemetery (3139 Kutztown Rd, Reading, PA 19605).
