We bid farewell to Sandra K. Hockenberry of Newport, Pennsylvania, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 8, 2025 at the age of 71. Sandra touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. As Sandra departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Sandra. Though Sandra may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, William Graham and Shirley Graham (Barrick); her son James "Jim" D. Nelson, Jr. (Jennifer); her grandsons, Dimitri (Shannon), Cameron and Hunter Nelson (Mirka Vasquez); and her siblings, Donnie Graham and Peg Wileman.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ronald C. L. Smith Funeral Home (325 N High St, Duncannon, PA 17020). A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
