She was predeceased by: her parents, Edmund Cronon and Florence Cronon of Sandy Spring, MD; and her brother David Cronon of Madison, WI. She is survived by: her husband Lucius Newton Thurber; her sister Nancy Ball of Walla Walla, WA.; her grandchildren, Patrick, Elizabeth, Emilia, Laura and Nathan; and her great grandchild William. She is also survived by her three sons.
