She is survived by: her parents, Harlan Lee and Vera C. Kahl Caldwell; her spouse Jack Sherman Mathews; her children, Constance Paige (Stephen) of Newtown and John Mathews (Teresa) of Bellevue; and her sister-in-law Jo Caldwell of Jacksonville. She is also survived by three grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
