He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest McClain and Mary McClain; his siblings, Lawrence, Ernest, Bernard, Louise and Erna; his former wife Beatrice Osborn McClain; his daughter Brenda Lee McClain; his wife Sara McClain (Byelich); his children, Michael, Jerry and Martha; his son-in-law Stan; and his grandson Raymond.
He is survived by: his son Howard (Lena); his son-in-law Charles; and also, Ken, Dan, David (Jodi), Lori, Paul, Jim (Julie), Sara, Joe, Marijean, Terri, Dominic and Mark (Tasha). He is also survived by her 37 grandchildren and 44 great-grandchildren.
