George Regan Obituary

George Morgan Regan passed unexpectedly on December 6, 2020 at his home at the age of 60. Born in Providence, RI, son of the late Mary (Sperduti) and Donald J. Regan, he was a long time resident of Newtown, PA. George was employed as a 3rd grade Academic Support Math Instructor with the Slackwood Elementary School in Lawrenceville, NJ.

He was awarded teacher of the year in 2009, and was presented with the Governor's Award. An avid cylclist, cook, and gardener, George loved to travel. He especially enjoyed the ocean and visiting George's Beach in Rhode Island. George is survived by his sisters, Joanne Hausknecht, Paula Regan, and Donna Donati and her husband Jerry; and his nieces, Maria and Lauren all of Pennsylvania.

Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday, October 23, 2021, from 9:30 until 11:00 am at Saint Ephrem Church, 5400 Hulmeville Road, Bensalem, where his funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am. The Rite of Committal will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Bensalem. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to the George Regan Memorial Scholarship Fund.
