She was predeceased by: her parents, John Tanis and Wilma Tanis (Hagan). She is survived by: her daughters, Sarah and Eliza; her husband A. David Sydney; her grandchildren, Lydia, Miles Brown, Thomas, Samuel and Sadie Gattis; and her siblings, John, Steven Tanis and Kathleen Tanis.
