He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Firestone and Marion Firestone (Richman); and his brother Leonard Firestone. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Firestone (Pomerantz); his children, Michael Firestone (Cherry), Andrea Schaard (Ken) and Mitchell Firestone (Stephanie); his grandchildren, Nicolette, Benjamin, Zach, Eric (Jenn), Alyssa (Anthony), Kyle and Alexa; and his great grandchildren, Emma and Hannah. He is also survived by great-grandchild who is expected soon; his sister in law, brothers in law and his many nieces, nephews and cousins.
