She was predeceased by: her spouse Aloysius J. Dowd, Jr.; her parents, John F. Burns and Anna Boyle Burns; and her child Aloysius J. Dowd, III. She is survived by: her children, Maria A. Mazza, Jack Dowd (Kathy) of Drexel Hill and Edward Dowd (Diane) of Langhorne; her siblings, Regina Burns, Scranton, Julia Burns of Newtown Square, PA, Richard Burns (Joann) of Wilmington, DE, Joseph Burns (Ann) of South Philadelphia and Jed Burns of West Chester; her brother-in-law Robert Dowd (Anne) of Drexel Hill, PA.; her grandchildren, Michael, Matthew, John (Laura), Jenna (Alex), Alex (Lindsay), Kelsey and Jennifer; and her great grandchildren, Brynn, Lilly, Charlotte, Olivia, Ava and Conor.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing where masks and social distancing will be practiced on Saturday, January 9, 2021 from 10:00 AM until her Funeral Mass 11:30 AM at St. Andrew Catholic Church, 81 Swamp Rd. Newtown, PA 18940. Her interment will be private for just her family in Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery, immediately following the mass.
