Ruth P. Hockenberry Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth P. Hockenberry of Newville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 24, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Ruth shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Ruth farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leroy Barrick and Edith Barrick (Brown); and her brothers, Floyd and Marlin Barrick. She is survived by: her children, Connie L. Kittrell (Bill) of Carlisle and Dan R. Hockenberry (Karen) of Newville; and her siblings, Paul Barrick (Diane) and Anna Mae Wickard (late Sam). She is also survived by four grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
