Anita Marie Nealen Obituary

We are sad to announce that on October 23, 2023, at the age of 92, Anita Marie Nealen of Nicktown, Pennsylvania, born in Spangler, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Zygmont Veneskey and Mary Helen Veneskey (Farabaugh); her husband Herman Joseph Nealen; and her siblings, Bernetta Long, Rose Weiland, Michael, Francis and John "Jack" Veneskey.

She is survived by: her children, Jean Ballas (Paul), Susan (Robert Reardon), Ann Nealen Ziner (Tal McGary), Charles (Kathy), Dennis, Nancy McKee (Ken), Norma, Theresa Galantino, Theodore (Susi), Rebecca Ellis, Raymond (Coleen), Paul (Vida Irani), Pauline Paletta (David) and Michele (Jacob Jones); and her siblings, Mary Delaney, Cecilia "Dee Dee" McGary, Margaret Griffith, Veronica Tinker, Mary "Germaine" Lanzendorfer, Sylvester "Dick" and Daniel "Butch" Veneskey. She is also survived by grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren.

Charitable contributions may be made to St. Nicholas Catholic School or to Bishop Carroll Catholic High School.
