We bid farewell to Ann Marie Grater (Norristown, Pennsylvania), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 7, 2025 at the age of 83. Ann Marie touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, James McCarthy and Anna McCarthy; and her husband William W. Grater. She is survived by: her sons, William B. (Leslie) of Trooper and Richard J. (Jana) of Acton, MA; her brother James McCarthy (Deb); her grandchildren, Kayla Salus (Rob), Monica Buckley (James), Bria, Jack and Alexis; and her great grandchild RJ Salus.
Viewing will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 10:45 AM to 11:45 AM at the BVM Church (Upper Church) (196 N Trooper Rd, Norristown, PA 19403). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the BVM Church (196 N Trooper Rd, Eagleville, PA 19403). A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 1:15 PM at the St. Patrick's Cemetery (2400 DeKalb St, Norristown, PA 19401).
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Ann Marie's name to the Alzheimer's Association.
