It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Samuel Leroy Wright Sr. (North Apollo, Pennsylvania), born in Anita, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 6, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wright and Elzada Travis Wright; his wife Antoinette M. Lackner Wright; his son David R. Lyons; and his siblings, John Wright, William Wright, Beverly Weimer, Betty Dunkleberger and Naomi Fink.
He is survived by: his pets, Taffy and Candy; and his children, Samuel L. Wright Jr. (Barbara) of Spring Church, Jacqueline Johnson (Larry) of South Carolina, Gwendolyn Cerra (Mark) of Saltsburg and Yvonne Fails (Ken) of Clarksburg. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, and 17 great grandchildren.
