He is survived by: his mother Veronica Komperda Matson; his brother Bruce; his sister-in-law Jeanette Matson of Belle Vernon; his sibling's children, Kaitlin Gorzelsky (Adam Gorzelsky) and Nicholas Matson (Paige Matson); his great-nephew Landon Gorzelsky; his great-nieces, Lorelei and Iris Gorzelsky; and his pet Gizmo.
