He is survived by: his parent Louise Steinmiller Nichol; his children-in-law, Donna Corey, Robert Corey of Charlottesville, VA, Barbara Dusick, Chuck Dusick of Cape Coral, FL, Stephen R., Lois Nichol of Mebane, NC, Jeffrey Nichol, Charlotte Nichol of Raleigh, NC and Mark Nichol; his grandchildren, Brandy Eichmann (Sean), Krystal Downing (Michael), Thomas Corey, Erik Corey (Teka), Amanda Donnar (Kyle) and Bradley Dusick; and his great grandchildren, James Deacon, Charlie Deacon, Brooks Downing, Summerlyn Downing, Theo Corey and Tilly Corey. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
