He is survived by: his wife Arlene Brown; his son Dean Brown (Dawn); his stepchildren, Becky, Ginny, Matt, Andy, Diane, Ruelle, Karla, Bill (Cindy), Dave, Brian and Jeannie; his grandchildren, Zachary and Cindy; and his great grandchildren, Dakota and Makala. He is also survived by many step grandchildren and step great-grandchildren.
He spent many years working with Alzheimer's respite groups and feeding the homeless.
