He was predeceased by : his father David Nixon; and his stepson Josiah Lipscomb. He is survived by : his mother Jacqueline Nixon; his wife Cori; his children, Madison Nixon (Matthew Peppard) and Jayse Nixon (Joshua Nixon); his stepson Tyas Lipscomb; his sisters, Jenny Anderson (Tom), Julie Yingst (Gary) and Felicia Gurrera (Michael); and his grandchildren, Varo, Atticus and Luna Peppard. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, in laws, cousins, and friends.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home (3219 Main St, Weirton, WV 26062). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
