It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jewell Simpson (North East, Pennsylvania), born in Brookville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 12, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Frank D. Geer and Sarah F. Dinger Geer; her former life partner William A. Reese; her son Donald J. Simpson (Judy); her grandson Mark D. Skinner; her siblings, Hurlbert Geer, Clifford Geer, Lawrence Geer and Faire Ellen Geer Silvis; and her husband James S. Simpson.
She is survived by : her daughters, Shirley Simpson Skinner and Patty Simpson Sayers (Lester); her grandchildren, Brian Skinner (Missy), Lori Zimmer (Jerry), Shari Longo (Ben) and Karen Fisher (Greg); and her great grandchildren, Colin, Camryn, Jimmy, Jake, Robin, Megan and Hanna.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic mandates, there will be a private service which will be filmed and available for viewing for those who loved Jewell and couldn't be here.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Greenfield Baptist Church.
