Andrew Dyakon Obituary

We are sad to announce that on October 6, 2025, at the age of 99, Andrew Dyakon of North Huntingdon, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the vast expanse of eternity, Andrew shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Andrew farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Dyakon and Pauline Kukekuch Dyakon Krotovich; his wife Audrey McNally Dyakon; and his son Gregg Dyakon. He is survived by: his children, Andrew Dyakon (Roberta), Barbara Palmieri (Greg) and Nancy Scopelitis (Steven); and his daughter-in-law Lynn Dyakon. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the James W. Shirley Funeral Home, Inc. (176 Clay Pike, Irwin, PA 15642). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given in Duke's name to the Redstone Benevolent Care Fund, 126 Mathews Street, Suite 2800, Greensburg, PA 15601.
