It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dolores Veychek of North Huntingdon, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 14, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Sullivan and Helen Barlas Sullivan; and her husband Leo Veychek. She is survived by: her children, Michael Veychek (Susan), Joseph Veychek (Sharon), Diane Tyger (Russell), Mary Fiume (Daniel) and Helen Holman (Robert); her brother Tom Sullivan (Nina); her grandchildren, Ashley, Nicholas, Lauren, Brandon, Casey, Evan, Nicky, Emily, Abigail, Joshua, Alexis and Leah; and her great grandchildren, Olivia, Noah, Jacob and Isaac.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the James W. Shirley Funeral Home, Inc. (176 Clay Pike, Irwin, PA 15642). A Mass was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Agnes Church (11400 St Agnes Ln, Irwin, PA 15642).
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Dee's name to Animal Protectors of Allegheny Valley in New Kensington.
