He was predeceased by: his spouse Dorothy Schaer; his parents, Frank John and Margaret Amelia Schaer; and his sister Beverly Stiller. He is survived by: his children, Wendy Lee Lissy (Joe), Frank John Schaer (Kathy), Donald Gene Schaer (Angel), Robert Reid Schaer and John Robert Schaer (Jennifer). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, and many nieces and nephews.
